What's Blooming at Highlands?


The serviceberries are putting on quite a show this week! This photo was taken near the entrance to the preschool. Look for small purplish blue fruits to follow. Serviceberry is a terrific wildlife plant! The small fruits are favored by both birds and humans.

I am refreshing my own landscape this year with Summer Wine Ninebark, Black Beauty Elderberry, Mt. Royal Plum, and the newly released Black Ice Plum!
